Daikin air conditioners, VRV systems and solutions for air quality
Daikin production is intended for both domestic settings and the professional sector, with systems designed to meet different cooling, heating and air quality control needs. Among its most representative products is
Daikin Stylish, a wall-mounted air conditioner with a compact profile, defined by essential lines, refined finishes and technologies for intelligent air flow management. Equally recognizable is
Daikin Emura, a compact indoor unit with integrated Wi-Fi connectivity that can be managed remotely via app, also with voice control through compatible digital assistants. For the commercial and tertiary sectors, Daikin offers Sky Air, VRV, VAM, chiller and Package units intended for stores, offices, hotels, hospitality facilities and collective spaces. VRV technology makes it possible to modulate the volume of refrigerant according to the building’s needs, contributing to the efficient management of consumption. The range also includes ventilation and purification solutions designed to improve indoor comfort and the healthiness of spaces. Distribution in Italy is developed through Daikin Aerotech showrooms, La Casa del Condizionatore points of sale, selected Partner Installers and wholesalers in the plumbing and heating sector.
Daikin Italy, history and development of air conditioning in Italy
Daikin Air Conditioning Italy was founded in 2002 as the Italian branch of the Daikin group, established in Japan in 1924. That same year, the company received the “Stratospheric Ozone Protection” award, linked to environmental protection. Its Italian presence has been consolidated through a widespread organizational network: Milan hosts the headquarters and pre- and after-sales activities, Genoa the Technical and Training Department, Rome the office dedicated to central and southern Italy, while Guidonia is home to the Services Division. The brand’s technological evolution is linked to the development of advanced refrigerant systems and high-efficiency solutions. In 2003, Daikin introduced one of the first systems with R-410A refrigerant and launched VRV-II; in the following years it presented the
mini VRV, the first water-cooled VRV and the chiller with inverter technology. In 2006,
Ururu Sarara arrived in Europe, an air conditioner also capable of controlling the humidity level of the air. Today Daikin Italy represents a benchmark in the Italian air conditioning market, with a broad and integrated range for the comfort of residential and professional spaces.
