Mainly designed and manufactured in France, Ibride's creations stand out for their uniqueness. In the French workshop, each creation is the result of a rare skill: giving volume to flat panels, without glue, without welding and using only the essential elements for assembly. The pieces fit together like the lines of a well-kept secret, allowing each object to travel the world in the most compact form, leaving only a light footprint. This same design intelligence makes it possible to replace a single element and preserve the whole, prolonging its life through generations. Made of solid wood or HPL panels, which are also sufficiently resistant for outdoor use, the materials are carefully selected in France and Italy. The origins of Ibride and its history
Founded in 1996 in the village of Fontain, France, Ibride was born from the shared imagination of a family trio, Carine Jannin, Rachel and Benoît Convers, who wanted to give shape to the creatures, stories and presences that inhabited their inner world. From their workshop next to the family home, they began creating self-published objects that blurred the line between the ordinary and the extraordinary. From the early years, independence became their way of preserving a unique editorial line and cultivating a production based on proximity, care and continuity. Over time, this vision has developed into a creative house supported by local craftsmanship and long-standing partners.
