The MCZ mission can be summed up in these words: 'Innovation and design to furnish with fire.' MCZ introduced
pellet stoves and fireplaces in the late 1990s. Founded in 1975 in Vigonovo di Fontanafredda (PN), the company is part of the MCZ Group and has distinguished itself with its high-tech, high-design products. MCZ products meet consumer needs focusing on aesthetics and quality sustained by energy-savings and environmental responsibility.
Stoves,
fireplaces,
pellet/
wood-burning stoves,
fireplace inserts, are all designed, manufactured, and marketed by MCZ, with distribution in over 40 countries worldwide.
MCZ stoves and fireplaces: the advantages of pellets
MCZ was among one of the first companies to introduce pellet products, whose advantages are countless. First and foremost, the energy source is economical because it ensures very high yields at much lower costs than fossil fuels. Moreover, since it produces effective and clean combustion, it contributes to lower emissions level. For this reason,
pellet stoves are eligible for ecobonus incentives, meaning further savings for careful consumers. Pellet stoves and fireplaces are easy to use, practical and clean. Over the years, the MCZ research and development division has obtained several innovative patents to provide its customers with cutting-edge, efficient, and sustainable products. Born in 2006, Active was the first patented technology for the intelligent management of pellet combustion. Maestro, an integrated mini-computer that introduced MCZ products into the universe of IoT technology, followed four years later. With the Comfort Air® system, MCZ revolutionized hot air duct systems, making it possible to heat multiple rooms with a single stove. Even
wood-burning stoves and
wood-burning fireplaces are designed to ensure high efficiency and low emissions. Ideal for heating passive houses, they use Oyster technology, a system that extracts oxygen for combustion outside the home, not inside. The Hydro stove and fireplace lines connect to the home water system; its low thermal inertia quickly heats radiators. MCZ is well-known for its attention to the environment, a crucial sector that, in 2022, will see much stricter and more stringent Ecodesign regulations come into force. MCZ products have been compliant with them since 2016.
The design of MCZ stoves and fireplaces
MCZ already boasts an impressive reputation with the first pellet stove to have won a prestigious design award. Toba, one of the first stoves created in collaboration with
Emo Design, won the iF Design Award in 2011, paving the way for the production of dozens of iconic products designed by the young talents. Scenario is a futuristic fireplace with a perfectly integrated TV. The
