The Reissue of Carlo Mollino’s Iconic Vertebra Table

Zanotta, which has always been committed to promoting and reinterpreting the historical heritage of Italian design, has recently obtained an exclusive licence from the Italian government to produce 30 of the designer’s projects: alongside products already in the collection, such as the Ardea CM armchair, the Fenis CM chair, the Gilda CM armchair, the Arabesco CM table, the Reale CM table and the Milo CM mirror, Zanotta pays tribute to the memory and formal exploration of the great Turin-born designer by presenting, for the very first time, the iconic Vertebra table: an emblematic design that combines structural experimentation, craftsmanship and production innovation, faithfully restoring Mollino’s original vision through careful and rigorous industrial production. 

Zanotta is renewing its collaboration with Vincent Van Duysen, which began last year, by presenting an expansion of the Fedrigo modular sofa system range. The collection is enriched with new shapes, featuring curved modules and asymmetrical end pieces, designed to broaden the configuration options and further enhance the product’s comfort. The focus on sustainability remains central, confirmed by the use of CIRCULARREFOAM® in the upholstery, in line with the company’s commitment to responsible and innovative solutions. 

The collaboration with Vincent Van Duysen is taking a further step forward with the new Campa table and chair, a complete dining set characterised by a striking clarity of expression. The Campa collection plays on strong sculptural contrasts to strike the perfect balance between softness, structure and proportion. The chair evokes the Nordic stylistic elements dear to the Belgian designer: solid wood, chosen for its ability to express structure in a direct and sincere manner, accommodates the softness of the fabric or leather upholstery. It is available in both a version with a padded backrest and one without, offering different interpretations of comfort and formal lightness. At the same time, the table’s structure echoes the material language of the chair and is enhanced by a top available in leather or back-painted glass, creating a range of colour variations. 

The Pianoalto sofa by Palomba Serafini Associati has been revamped with the introduction of new curved elements and sinuous shapes, expanding the possibilities for configuration and creating a more dynamic dialogue with the space. These innovations are complemented by the use of a new CIRCULARREFOAM® padding, which further enhances the product’s comfort. Characterised by a distinctive design language, this best-seller from the Zanotta collection confirms its versatility, offering flexible compositional solutions adaptable to various interior design projects, whilst maintaining a consistent balance between comfort, aesthetic quality and a focus on sustainability.

Monica Armani has designed Rondevù, a new armchair with soft, inviting lines, conceived to adapt to both domestic settings and hospitality and work spaces. The characteristic padded curve of the backrest interprets contemporary comfort through a clean form, creating an enveloping silhouette. Also available in the Rondevù Vis-à-Vis version, the design evolves into a configuration that fosters connection, creating a fluid and convivial space designed for conversation. 

Alongside the chair, Monica Armani has also designed Alfarè, a collection of side tables available in two sizes. Crafted from painted concrete, they stand out for the subtly ribbed texture of their tops and their harmonious, minimalist form, which conveys a strong sense of materiality and sculptural presence. 

The collaboration with Brogliato Traverso has given rise to the Binata chair, characterised by clear, distinct geometric forms inspired by the theme of paired columns. The parallel legs supporting the backrest lend the design an architectural presence, ensuring a crisp, well-defined compositional balance. Crafted from solid wood, the chair powerfully expresses its material identity, highlighting the quality of the wood and its expressive potential.

Studiopepe has teamed up with Zanotta for the first time to create Slice Me Nice, a collection of side tables that offers a contemporary take on the interplay between metallic surfaces and colour accents. The design stands out for its use of colour as a graphic element applied to the edges of the tabletop and the legs, becoming a distinctive feature that defines the product’s proportions and identity. The surfaces are made of Fenix® laminate with an aluminium finish, contrasting with the coloured profiles that emphasise the perimeter. The result is a sophisticated and versatile design, conceived to blend naturally into both domestic and contract settings. Available in three sizes, it offers flexible compositional solutions adaptable to different interior layouts. 

Zaven’s Low Bol collection of coffee tables is expanded with a new, lower model featuring a wider radius, ideal for use as a standalone piece or in combination with other elements of this range. 

Soft and inviting, the Nagori bed is the result of a new collaboration with designer Simone Bonanni and strikes a balance between solidity and lightness. The solid wood frame defines the character of the design, conveying stability and a tangible presence, whilst the generous forms and the curved headboard, which flows seamlessly into the legs, reinforce its formal identity. An unexpected sense of lightness emerges in the construction details: the joints are designed so that the elements almost brush against one another, resting on top of each other with precise balance, giving the impression that everything remains slightly suspended in space and time. The wide headboard, resting on a horizontal beam, offers generous support and excellent comfort even when seated, making the Nagori bed a place to live in, not just a place to sleep.
