Spiegels, German producer of office furniture, was founded in 1974 by Karl-Heinz Spiegels. The headquarter is situated in Nettetal. At its very beginning, spiegels concentrated on the development of high-quality office seatings with wooden frame. But only two years after its foundation, spiegels developed its second main pillar: the executive offices. Today, elegant office solutions, such as .taros or .taros XL belong to this solution.
In the 1990s, spiegels started producing conference furniture. Due to its innovative table systems that can be assembled and dissembled without any tool, spiegels applied for several patents. Shortly after the turn of the millenium, spiegels started developing intelligent systems that allow the integration of multimedia systems, as today "there is no conference room or office without technological elements".
Today, spiegels is one of the forerunners with reference to the integration of multimedia elements.
Spiegels has been awarded with several important awards, such as the reddot "best selection office design". Furthermore, spiegels was honoured by the ministry of economics for being "the healthiest company" in the region North Rhine-Westphalia.
Spiegels has set itself the objective to develop individual solutions for high demands, as "every human being has his or her own idea with reference to the workplace. Every room has to satisfy different requirements. Together with architects and clients, spiegels thus develops individual room solutions that meet these requirements.
